Account and security

Protect your email and phone from spam

Contact privacy keeps bots from harvesting your email, phone and WhatsApp number while real visitors can still reach you in one click.

step 1

Choose how each detail appears

Open Profile and find Contact privacy. Protected, the default, shows your email and phone masked, like jo•••@ex•••.com, and reveals the real value only when a visitor clicks it. Public shows them in full. Hidden removes them everywhere.

  • Keep email and phone on Protected unless you need them printed in downloads.
  • Use Hidden for a number you never want public, including WhatsApp links.
  • Hide your location if it is more specific than you want to share.
  • In Public visibility, hide the resume, portfolio PDF, press kit or contact card you do not want visitors to open, and keep your profile photo protected from saving.

step 2

Know where protected details never appear

A protected detail is not in your page source, so scrapers cannot read it. It is also left out of search results, AI summaries, your structured data, your PDF downloads and your saved contact card. A visitor can reveal a handful of details, but bulk requests are blocked.

  • Use Public if your resume PDF must carry your email.
  • Your own resume and cover-letter builder always shows your real details.

step 3

Keep a way in when you hide everything

If you hide your email, visitors reach you through your contact form instead. Messages still arrive at your contact email and in your lead inbox, because the form never shows the address to the visitor.

  • Switch on the contact form in Settings before hiding your email.
  • Send yourself a test message and confirm it arrives.
