Upload media that loads quickly and looks sharp
Prepare images, documents, audio, and video so portfolio pages remain fast and professional.
step 1
Use intentional assets
Portfolio media should prove the work: product screenshots, press logos, project images, demos, or documents that strengthen credibility.
- Use clear, high-resolution source files.
- Avoid uploading private contracts, IDs, or confidential decks.
- Name files so you can recognize them later in the media library.
step 2
Let processing finish
Uploaded files go through validation and processing before they are safe to attach to public sections.
- Wait for the media item to leave processing state.
- Replace failed uploads instead of reusing partial files.
- Preview pages that use large images on mobile.
step 3
Keep public pages fast
Use the fewest assets needed to make the portfolio persuasive. A tighter page usually performs better than a gallery of everything.
- Prefer one strong hero image over several weak images.
- Use documents and videos only where they add proof.
- Run public performance checks before major announcements.
