review note
This is a product-specific launch draft, not legal advice. The final live policy should be approved against the current company setup, launch jurisdictions, processor list, pricing model, and enterprise commitments.
1. Scope
This draft Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Folio plans by wrxstack. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to subscriptions and one-time charges processed through the service.
Every term here is a DRAFT pending owner and counsel sign-off, and final terms may vary by plan, jurisdiction, and the payment processor used at launch. Where this policy and a statutory consumer right conflict, the statutory right prevails.
2. Free and paid plans
Free plans are provided at no charge and have nothing to refund. Paid plans are billed in advance for the chosen term and renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Free plans: no charge and no refund.
- Paid plans: billed in advance, recurring until cancelled, subject to the terms below.
- Add-ons and usage-based charges, if offered, are billed as described at purchase.
3. Cancellation and how to cancel
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current term except where a refund right applies or the law requires one.
- Cancel from the billing settings in your account where the control is available.
- If you cannot cancel in-product, request cancellation at support@wrxstack.com.
- After cancellation you keep paid access until the end of the current paid term, then the plan reverts to free or closes per the final terms.
4. Refund eligibility and windows
We intend to offer a satisfaction window for first-time paid subscriptions. The draft window is 14 days from the initial charge for a new paid subscription, after which fees for the current term are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Draft window: a refund of the initial charge if you request it within 14 days of that charge.
- Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new term begins, subject to statutory rights.
- We may decline a refund where the account shows abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
5. Pro-rata and partial periods
Where a refund is due for a partial period, or where a downgrade applies mid-term, any adjustment will be calculated on a reasonable pro-rata basis unless the final terms or law specify otherwise.
- Mid-term downgrades may take effect at the next renewal rather than immediately, depending on plan.
- Pro-rata calculations are based on the unused portion of the paid term.
6. Non-refundable items
Some charges are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. These are identified at purchase where possible.
- Fees for terms already used beyond the satisfaction window.
- Third-party pass-through fees, such as domain registration handled by a registrar.
- Taxes, where non-refundable under applicable rules.
7. Statutory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within a cooling-off period, typically 14 days. By starting to use a paid digital service during that period you may agree that the service begins immediately, which can affect the refund you are owed.
Nothing in this draft removes mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Where a statutory right gives you more than this policy, the statutory right applies. Final consumer-rights wording must be confirmed by counsel for each launch jurisdiction.
- EU and UK consumers: a cooling-off right of typically 14 days for distance contracts, subject to the digital-content and immediate-performance rules.
- Other jurisdictions: local consumer protection laws may grant additional rights.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us can delay resolution and may lead to suspension while the dispute is investigated.
- Contact cfo@wrxstack.com or support@wrxstack.com before disputing a charge with your bank.
- We may suspend access during an unresolved payment dispute.
- We will cooperate in good faith to resolve billing errors.
9. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us with the account email, the charge date and amount, and the reason. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to process approved refunds to the original payment method.
- Send refund requests to cfo@wrxstack.com, or to support@wrxstack.com for general billing help.
- Include the account email, invoice or charge reference, date, amount, and reason.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as plans, processors, or legal requirements change. Material changes should be reviewed before publication and reflected with a new review date, and they do not reduce statutory rights that already apply to you.
11. Contact
Billing, cancellation, and refund questions, and legal-signoff comments, should be sent to cfo@wrxstack.com, with general support at support@wrxstack.com. Include the account email, plan, and relevant charge details.
